The Milk Allergy Dietitian

The Milk Allergy Dietitian

NAMING, LOGO DESIGN, BRAND, SOCIAL CONTENT & WEBSITE

Lydia is an experienced dietitian specialising in supporting infants and their families with milk allergies. She wanted a brand that was friendly, approachable, full of personality and that could grow as her business does too. We went through a lengthy naming process and landed on The Milk Allergy Dietitian - bold and confident, communicating exactly what it is that she specialises in and how she can help. From the name of her brand and logo comes a whole host of fun, playful characters that come in to their own to help break down and communicate how Lydia can support, empower and educate families and peers when it comes to milk allergies.

I’ve had a lot of fun bringing them to life through her social media channels, creating some templates for Lydia to build and create her own content, as well as them popping up on her website to dig deeper in to what she does and how she can help families and little ones.

Take a look at the end results below…

CHARACTER AND COLOUR

Above shows the oh-so-cute stamp designed for Lydia to use on social assets, and other comms that can break away from the logo lock up to add to the visual language of the brand. The colour palette of bright pastels moves away from the clinical stereotypical colours sometimes used by nutritionists and dietitians.

WEBSITE AND SOCIALS

The characters really come in to their own when they break away from the logo and appear on assets such as the website above and social media posts below. I worked with Lydia to create some Canva templates for her to feel empowered to create and design her own social media content, but ensuring that it is on brand and visually consistent for her followers. The website can be seen here and you can follow Lydia on Instagram here.

Moodboard

Before every project starts, I work with my clients to create their bespoke moodboard to ensure that we are both on the same page when it comes to creative direction. Here’s a sample of some of the pages from Lydia’s moodboard:
